Tuesday, October 15th: 5-7pm – South African Wine Tasting

Miles MossopWinemaker Miles Mossop from Tokara Winery (Stellenbosch, South Africa) will be visiting us this TUESDAY evening. Miles’ resume is quite impressive. Not settling for a geology/geoscience degree in 1995 from Stellenbosch University, he continued on and obtained degrees in viticulture and oenology in 1998, finishing top in his class! He has worked at the prestigious wineries of Knappstein in Claire, Australia, Alain Parret in Condrieu, France and Planeta in Sicily. After joining Tokara Winery in 2000, Miles seems to be right at home. He was recently granted membership into the esteemed Cape Winemakers Guild.

Stop by from 5-7pm as Miles as some great stories to share. He will also be sharing his Sauvignon Blanc(s), a 90pt. Shiraz and his Director’s Reserve Red which scored 94 points from the Wine Advocate.

NOTE: This special event falls on a Tuesday, not our regular Wednesday or Thursday.
