Schaefer’s is excited to share the highly sought after Whiskeys from High West Distillery on October 3rd. Founded by prospector’s in the late 1860’s, Park City became one of the best watering holes in Utah. So it only made sense that in the early 1870’s the first distillery in Utah was established in Park City; High West Distillery & Saloon.
After continued pressure from religious organizations, namely the Mormons and the Prohibition Act, High West Distillery closed it’s doors in the early 20th century. But proprietor, David Perkins, finally reopened the distillery in 2007 and has been crafting some of the country’s best Whiskeys!.
Join us as we sample through several of the High West Whiskeys. This includes, but not limited to, their Western Oat Silver Whiskey, The 36th Vote Manhattan and Campfire.
