Byron’s Got the Julep for You!

byron3Byron, our Baron of the Beer Aisle, is happy to share his julep recipe with the world.

The horses are on the track!


  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 3 Sprigs Fresh Mint
  • 1 Teaspoon Superfine Sugar
  • 3 oz. Bourbon
  • 1 Orange Slice


Mash together water, sugar and mint in the bottom of a glass (Derby or similar) until the mint is very fragrant. Fill the glass with crushed or shaved ice and bourbon. Stir well. Garnish with orange slice and sprig of fresh mint. Enjoy the race!
